D.I.M. enterprise version
Digital Investigation Manager Enterprise (D.I.M. en) is the ideal solution for cases involving such a large amount of data that one
operator would not be able to handle the entire job. D.I.M. en allows an unlimited number of users to connect to a central database.
Each user may carry out all case management operations from his or her console without being affected by what the others are doing.
Investigators may work simultaneously on the same or different cases using all the features of the product. D.I.M. en coherently
manages data input and modifications carried out by the different operators. The central database may either be MySQL or Oracle
(database license not included).
Supervisor Module
The supervisor module is an additional component included with the D.I.M. Enterprise Version (and an optional component for the
Workgroup version). It allows a supervisor to monitor case progress via a console connected to the central database. Capabilities
include statistical data analysis and complex, targeted search functions for any or all cases included in the central database.
Synchronization
An add-on module on client systems allows the local database to be synchronized with the central database. This function is useful
when investigators have to work out of the office or are otherwise unable to connect to the central database. The synchronization
module allows each investigator to synchronize his or her local database with the central one, downloading updated case information.
Conversely, after working offline, the investigator can upload the new data from the local to the central database to make them
available to other investigators.
