D.I.M. workgroup version

The Workgroup version of Digital Investigation Manager (D.I.M. wg) allows a team of investigators to work both with local databases and with a remote database. D.I.M. wg manages simultaneous connections to the remote database and thus allows a number of operators (max. 5) to work simultaneously on the same or different cases. The search functions can be used on the local database. The Supervisor module, described in the Enterprise section, is an option that can be added at any time.

An add-on module on client systems allows the local database to be synchronized with the central database. This function is useful when investigators have to work out of the office or are otherwise unable to connect to the central database. The synchronization module allows each investigator to synchronize his or her local database with the central one, downloading updated case information. Conversely, after working offline, the investigator can upload the new data from the local to the central database to make them available to other investigators.
